I'm Alex Arda Akyuz, M.S. a Detroit-based cybersecurity professional with nearly a decade of IT experience and a Master's degree in Technology Studies with a concentration in Cybersecurity/Information Security Management.I founded CyberFX Secure with one goal in mind: making expert cybersecurity accessible to every small business. My background is as diverse as the work I do. Of Armenian heritage with roots in Istanbul, Turkey, I bring a global perspective to everything I build. Fluent in English, Armenian, and Turkish, I believe that strong communication is at the heart of both cybersecurity and human connection and that the ability to bridge cultures is one of the most powerful tools anyone can have.Cybersecurity is not a destination it is a constantly moving target. My current areas of interest include information security, risk management, AI augmented cyberattacks, cryptography, and quantum computing.
